Frozen stairs beneath Seljalandsfoss waterfall in Iceland. The saying in Iceland goes something like, "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes," and this rings true as golden light turns to rain and to a blizzard in the briefest of time. Luckily, on our our first stop by Seljalandsfoss waterfall we arrived at night and shot long exposures of the falls against the night sky. The next morning we were able to traverse the wet wooden stairway and slippery rocks to follow the path underneath the falls. On our next pass by this epic landmark, those same steps and stones were covered in sheets of ice that made the magical path beneath the falls impassable.
